The Boss assembly magnet

In April, we sent out a newsletter about floating plants and other fun things you can do with magnets. And then we got this email from Karsten:

Hi Mia
You can also use magnets as "safety equipment". I think everyone who has a sandwich maker both loves and hates it. Love the phenomenal kitchen tool it is and hate the cleaning situation. Juggling around with the knife is an effort with the fingers and you stand relieved after you have succeeded in cleaning it without a cut. A couple of power magnets work well as handles.
Mvh. Karsten.

We love it when you contact us with other things you can use magnets for. Because that is what makes our everyday life so exciting. We have sold many of these magnets as extra strong office magnets, and therefore it is completely new to us that they can also be used as mounting magnets... it's super smart!

Karsten also sent these photos with which we have been allowed to share with all our other customers:

Safe assembly of sandwich machine knives

When you have so sharp knives to do, it is to be careful. And the smart thing about the magnets is that you get a good distance to the sharp edge all along the knife blade, while at the same time you have a good grip during assembly and when you have to take the knife off the machine again. In addition, the magnets are brilliant as safe handles when you have to wash the knife. And if you have a restaurant, a delicatessen or stand at a butcher's, this has to happen several times a day.

So choose the safe solution: choose magnets.

< p>In addition, they are made of metal, so they can easily be used in kitchens without problems with cleanliness. Just remember to dry them thoroughly from water - water can cause them to rust over time if the magnets have been scratched. However, they are very hardy.

Very strong mounting magnets

You don't have to worry about whether the magnets can hold your knife. Each magnet has a carrying capacity of approx. 3.2 kg. So it will have to be an extraordinarily large and heavy knife sitting on your sandwich maker before these magnets fall short.

You can find the magnets here (they are sold in sets of 3):
