Magnetic balls - build a toilet

You can build many different figures with our magnetic balls, which also go by the name Neocubes and Zen magnets. We have been testing our red magballs ourselves.

You can see in the video how easy it is:

How to build a magnetic toilet

You need 200 small magnetic balls (Ø5 mm.) to make a toilet. Start by forming a long row of magnets. This makes it much easier to work with the balls and you can more easily control your figure. It doesn't take much for your figure to be attracted to the other balls if they are too close. This may mean you have to start over. It is about technique.

TIP: a plastic card (not your credit card) is brilliant for arranging the magnets when you are building your figures.< /p>

1) Start by making 2 hexagons. Use 18 magnets for each. You start with 6 balls, which you put together to form a ring. Carefully place the other 12 balls around.

2) Place the 2 hexagons on top of each other and set them aside.

3) Make 2 rings consisting of each 24 magnets.
In each ring you must first make a ring where you use 9 magnets. Then put 15 magnets around the ring.

4) Place the rings on top of each other and then carefully place the hexagon on top.

5) Now build a new larger hexagon consisting of a total of 36 magnets. When you are done, place a magnetic ball in the center of the hexagon.

6) Now build a rectangle consisting of 80 magnets. Make a circle and press the circle together so that you have a long piece consisting of 2 rows. Add them together so that you get 2x2 rows. Divide them so that there are short pieces, there are 16 balls in each layer. Make 2 of these. Put them together so that there are 32 balls in each layer.

7) Make 2 rows with the remaining 16 magnets (8 in each). Place the magnets on the side of the rectangle so that it is 5 balls wide and 8 balls long.

8) Take the large hexagon and place it on the large circle.

9) Now place the large rectangle on the back half of the large hexagon.

Tadaa! You are now finished and can enjoy how nice your little magnetic toilet has become.
