Write & draw on these magnets

We have many different types of magnets, and of course we also have some that you can write on yourself. You will find both white magnetic foil for permanent markers and with a whiteboard surface for whiteboard markers as well as strong office magnets. All the magnets in this category can be used on magnetic fridges, metal surfaces and whiteboards. You can also use the office magnets on quality glass boards such as Chatboards (cheap glass boards are often made with a very thin metal backing and are therefore not particularly magnetic).

A print-it-yourself solution requires that you choose magnetic paper and that you have a good inkjet printer. But if you have a large flatbed printer, you can print on all our magnetic sheets. However, we cannot recommend that you rush into printing on strong magnets yourself (such as the white office magnets), as this requires a special printer that can cope with the strong magnetism (or that is only made of aluminum, as magnets are attracted magnetic steel surfaces).

Write with permanent markers

You can write on all magnets with permanent markers, as long as you do not choose magnets with a "writable surface". They are made for whiteboard markers.

Write with whiteboard markers

You may be lucky to be able to erase text again when you have written with whiteboard markers on white magnetic foil or similar. But often shadows are left behind. So we recommend instead that you choose magnetic tape or magnetic sheets with a writable surface if you are going to use the magnets as a whiteboard where you can write and erase many times.

Print your own magnets

You can print on magnetic paper in your own printer (best results are obtained with "inkjet" ink printers), but you can also choose to print on general paper. paper or photo paper and then stick self-adhesive magnetic sheets on the back. However, you cannot print directly on magnetic sheets unless you have a flatbed printer.
