Description

One of our largest round metal plates with a diameter of 6.5 cm (2.56 inches) and a countersunk screw hole for M5-screws and bolts. This will ensure that you can fasten the metal plate with a flat work surface.

ATTENTION: This is not a magnet! The circular disks are only made of magnetic metal, and therefore provide a magnetic surface. But it is crucial to point out that the metal plates themselves are not magnets.

We have metal plates in a variety of sizes, so you can find the plate size that best suits your project's needs. But what they all have in common is that they are made of pure metal with a nickel surface, so you get the best surface contact for magnets when you wish to use them as magnetic counterparts.

The metal plates are sold individually. We also offer bulk sets at discounted prices. Simply review our options on the right and select the quantity of metal discs that meets your needs and provides you with the most savings.

We do not recommend these metal discs be used outdoors. However, if you coat the discs with a thin layer of varnish or laquer, which acts as a protective coating against scratches and rust, these metal discs could be placed outdoors. If the metal discs are set up unprotected outdoors, they will rust in a few years. But rust will only be an aesthetics issue, because even with rust they can continue to be a magnetic conduit. Surface rust will not be an issue, but if the rust begins to deteriorate the discs, we suggest replacing them immediately.

SPECIFICATIONS
Diameter: ø65 mm.
Height: 3 mm.
Screw hole: ø 5.7 mm.

These metal discs can be combined with all kinds of magnets.

Assembly:
When you need to secure the metal plate, it is recommended that you use a countersunk screw with a conical head. A countersunk screw ranging between 4.7mm (0.19 inches) and 5.7mm (0.22 inches) can be used.

If you intend to fasten the metal plate onto a thin wooden wall, for example a wardrobe wall, the screws commonly found in most hardware stores will be sufficient. These types of screws are often sold in assortment boxes.

Alternatively, you can use a longer screw, with a head size of approximately 5 mm (about 0.2 in) and shorten it in length with a bias bit or grinder.

Recessed metal plates purchased from us are sold individually. If you need larger quantities, on the right of your screen we have included large sets we offer at discounted prices. Browse our options and select the package that meets your needs.

Remember that these metal discs are made of magnetic metal, but they are NOT magnets. They need a magnet as a counter pole to achieve a magnetic effect.
