Ferrite magnet, Ring 100x60x20 mm.
Details
Description
Description
Large ferrite magnet with a hole in the middle. This magnet weighs almost 500 g.
Diameter: 100 mm
Height: 60 mm
Size of hole: 20 mm
Strength: approx. 16 kg.
Large ferrite ring magnet - both strong and heavy at the same time. The purpose of this magnet is not decorations and small DIY projects but more often used for e.g. assembling parts that must be able to withstand being outdoors or withstand high heat. It could also be for a project where the price outweighs the strength and weight of the magnet.
Withstands temperatures from -40°C to +250°C.
Careless use can cause the magnet to crack, as ferrite magnets are raw. Therefore, avoid shocks and blows. And be aware that the magnets are not toys - 16 kg. in strength is quite a lot, and one's fingers can be severely damaged by a collision between two magnets of this caliber.
If a tab breaks off the magnet, it has no noticeable effect on the strength and the magnetic field.
NB! Processing of magnets may only be done with special tools intended for magnets. Therefore, avoid experimenting with this sort of thing yourself.
