As ferrite magnets don't have a protective coating, they are fragile. Therefore bumps and knocks should be avoided. Only use tools specially designed for magnets.

Magnets should not be kept too closely to electrical equipment like mobile phones, computers, loudspeakers, hearing aids, pacemakers, etc.
