Magnetic tape Grey, 12 mm. x 1 m. - NORTH & SOUTH

Here you can buy anisotropic magnetic tape with unidirectional polarity, so you have 1 north side and 1 south side. The color is dark grey.

The magnetic tape is dark grey and flexible, but it is of a thicker quality than our regular magnetic tape, and it comes without self-adhesive.

We sell it in meters cut to size (price per running meter).

Some also call it monopolar magnetic tape. However, this is not entirely correct, as there is always a north and a south side on permanent magnets (made with ferrous material). But you can just use the north side or the south side and thereby achieve repulsion instead of attraction.

This anisotropic magnetic band is often used to create repulsion (or levitation). It is not as strong as permanent magnets, but you can make small parts such as e.g. lighter toy trains float by using two pieces of magnetic tape with the same polarity.

If you order 2 meters, you get a roll with 2 meters on it. If you order 10 meters, you get a roll with 10 meters on it, etc. Can be delivered in rolls of up to 50 meters per roll.

The magnetic tape is flexible and can be cut with good scissors or trimmed with a utility knife. Can easily sit on round surfaces such as a car or wavy surfaces such as a radiator.

NOTE! Cannot be used on glass boards as it is not made of neodymium.
