Description

Neodymium magnets | Permanent magnets

Diameter: 2 cm.
Height: 0.15 cm.
Strength: approx. 1.8 kg.

It can be used on glass boards, but it is very strong and very thin, so we do not recommend it for use on glass boards. Instead, use a 20x2 mm. or similar, thicker magnet.

Neodymium magnets are very powerful magnets. They can carry many times their own weight. However, this one is a bit fragile due to its thin size and large diameter, so you must handle it with care. It can handle a lot, but in the event of a collision, thin magnets break more easily, and therefore cannot withstand a collision. In addition, they must be put on the magnetic surface with care - hold onto the entire magnet and not just the edge. Otherwise, it might break the middle.

NOTE! The fact that these magnets cannot withstand collision does not mean that they are of poor quality. On the contrary! Most of our customers prefer as much power as possible in a magnet, and they are therefore pressed hard and made with a thin nickel-plated coating in order to get the most out of them in terms of strength and Gauss on the surface.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Strength: approx. 1,800 g.
Material: NdFeB
Magnetism: N38
Gauss: 12200-12600 (1.22-1.26 T)
MGOe: 36-38
Max. temperature: 80°C (possibly lower*)
Surface: nickel-plated (Ni-Cu-Ni)

*The thinner a magnet is, the lower the temperature it can withstand. This is a good guideline with temperatures, which is why we have set the neodymium magnets to have a fixed maximum temperature of 80 degrees. It does vary both upwards upwards and the number could therefore be much higher if it is a thicker magnet.

We only have a few magnets with special measurements, because we use milimetres as the standard measurement in Denmark. Occasionally, a customer needs a magnet that fits the English standard. This is why we have a few magnets in slightly odd sizes. They are always translated into millimeters in the overview to make it easy to shop with us.
